Students throughout the state recycle their paper, cans, and bottles, routinely in their schools. Since January, it has been mandatory in Connecticut to recycle eleven different items. Recycling has become part of our culture. Some schools in the state, like Mansfield Middle School, have already taken the next step in recycling– school composting.
