Possibilities for Ecological Sanitation in the Netherlands

The possibilities for introduction of ecological sanitation have a lot to do with social acceptance. To get an impression on the social acceptance and attitudes towards other sanitation concepts in the Netherlands, several interviews were held with Dutch citizens as well as professionals. From the interviews can be concluded that there is a psychological burden towards other sanitation and especially dry sanitation. It became clear that sanitation and talking about the toilet is still a taboo.
