Programmes and cases worldwide Information on programmes, projects and case studies on ecological sanitation
West Africa WASTE is active in Mali in the cities Bamako and Djenné. They work together with CEK Kala Saba and Alphalog.
East Africa WASTE is active in Tanzania and Uganda. The WSP (Water and Sanitation Programme of the World Bank) works alos in Kenya and is involved in the activities of WASTE in the other countries.
Asia - India There are three cities in India where the ISSUE programme is located. The partners in the different cities are: Mythri in Bangalore, Fodra in New Delhi.
South East Asia In The Philippines WASTE works together with CAPS, *** and ***. Earlier a very small project on Ecological Sanitation has taken place on the Island of Tingloy
Central America Several municipalities in Costa Rica have shown interest in a pilot project on Ecological Sanitation. ACEPESA our partner in San Jose is responsible for the process.
Europe WASTE is active in the Netherlands, trying to get Ecological Sanitation on the political agende. To accomplish this they are working with several partners in the Netherlands and Europe.
